I have been a licensed practical nurse for 6 and a half years, 4 of them at the CHSLD de Youville in St-Jérôme. I am responsible for the status of women file for my local unit of St-Jérôme, at SPSL des Laurentides.

I want to contribute to, inform and defend women’s rights in their demands and encourage them to assert themselves with the employer and colleagues.

What concerns me: ensuring that their rights are respected. The right to express their needs and stop violence of all forms. My ability to listen and my willingness to change things when faced with the employer’s demands and requirements pushes me to action. Moreover, I am at ease communicating and sharing with a team heading in the same direction of defending and giving women back the power to choose.
