Hello,

My name is Véronique Foisy. I am a nurse clinician by training and FIQ union representative for 20 years! I started my union path as treasurer of my local union from 1997 to 2005 and grievance agent until June 2017. Between 2005 and 2016, I was a member of 3 FIQ provincial negotiating committees and 1 3-year mandate on the FIQ Status of Women Committee. Now, after the merger of union certifications, I was elected as first vice-president in charge of local negotiations for the syndicat des professionnelles en soins des Cantons-de-l’Est (SPSCE).

I am a passionate and committed union rep who wants to be on the Internal Audit Committee in order to help maintain the financial health of the Federation, according to the mandates that I receive.
