Hello dear union representative.

My name is Isabelle Trépanier. I am a respiratory therapist at the CHU de Québec-UL since 1998. From the beginning of my career, I have always been interested in the respect and improvement of the healthcare professionals’ working conditions. I began my union involvement in 2003, first at the APIQ and then joined the wonderful FIQ family in 2005. I have been the secretary on the SICHU de Québec executive for three years. I am also responsible for the Mobilization and Communication Committee. I am a woman who wants to be involved, who likes to take on new challenges.

Today, I am submitting my candidacy for the Union Defence Fund Committee. Having already sat on my union’s Negotiation Defence Fund Committee, I have the judgment and knowledge necessary to help with the sound governance of this fund without putting aside its primary mission: to increase the effectiveness of union action.
