Hello everyone,

For those who don’t really know me, I have been a nurse for 24 years. I have worked in the emergency department and in surgery units. In 1999, and for six years thereafter, I worked to defend mental health rights. I was a consultant in several areas, including health and social services, labour standards, CNESST, etc. During this period, I also sat on parliamentary committees, legislation review committees and a ministerial committee and helped to write a brief. I currently work as a nurse team leader in physical rehabilitation.

In June 2017, I was elected grievance and disability agent for the CISSS de la Montérégie Centre at my local FIQ union. I am an engaged, driven person who is reliable and quick to respond. In winter 2018, I will start a university class on occupational health and safety legislation. For all of these reasons, I believe that I am an ideal candidate for the OHS Committee and have a valuable contribution to make.
