Hello dear colleagues,

I am submitting my candidacy today with interest and conviction for the FIQ Youth Committee. A nurse in the Emergency Department for 3 years and delegate for the department since last year, my desire to get involved in union life quickly emerged.

When I participated in the Youth Network meeting, I was immediately drawn to the role of the Youth Committee. I believe that there need to be more discussion forums and that participative democracy be encouraged with the young professionals. Listen to their ideas and concerns.

Concerned with the environment every day, I am interested in the concrete actions already in place for sustainable development and I want to contribute to the full implementation of this file. I also want to work on the visibility of our union actions by enhancing the use of new technologies to better reach and inform the members.

My determination has pushed me to several unique experiences (Katimavik program, humanitarian trip to Africa), which have broadened my horizons and understanding of individual and collective needs.
