Hello dear union representatives.

My name is Mathieu Lahaie and I am a respiratory therapist at the CIUSSS-MCQ and I am once again running for the Youth Committee for a full mandate.

During my union journey, I have been elected VP youth committee at the former CSSS Drummondville, where I founded a youth committee which carried out several activities, helping the FIQ to win the voice of young people during the last raiding period.

Then I was elected to the FIQ Youth Committee at the December 2016 Federal Council. During this mandate, I participated in two Youth Networks and in the completion of the current committee’s report and the possible solutions to foresee for the next Youth Committee on the place of young members at the FIQ, and I want to do the follow-up.

Lastly, I set up an action plan for the CIUSSS-MCQ have a youth committee. As you can see, I really believe in the youth cause within the union. That is why I am sure I will be an excellent candidate.
