Hello,

I have been a clinical nurse specialist for over 21 years and worked in several work environments. As part of my job, I have taught groups of colleagues, students and patients. I am someone who enjoys passing on my knowledge and believes it’s important to deliver relevant and quality training. In this role, I would like to help modernize the Education-Animation branch and make it an enjoyable process.

I have been involved in union life for 12 years: I was a vice-president for 9 years and have been president since May 2014. I have worked on several committees including the Info-Support, CPSST and Status of Women committees, I have been the spokesperson for the TRAC in MCQ and recently participated in building our new union structure. I am currently the president of the syndicat des professionnelles en soins Mauricie et centre du Québec.

I will close with a quote by Nelson Mandela: “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”
