Virginie Lambert-Bérubé
Youth Committee
CISSS de la Montérégie-Est (FIQ – Syndicat des professionnelles en soins de Montérégie-Est)
Hello,
My name is Virginie, I am 26 years old and I have been a union rep for the FIQ since 2016. I am a nurse at the CISSS Montérégie-Est.
I was quickly asked by my union team to run for local VP because I am involved, passionate and the type of person who claims her rights. I was elected vice-president of my executive committee. I have met inspiring women during my experience with the union: women who are activists and unionists, who have given me the desire to be involved and share the values conveyed by the FIQ, an organization of proposals and actions.
In December 2016, I was elected as the first substitute for the FIQ Youth Committee. I decided to get more involved with the youth, therefore I campaigned and was elected to my local union’s youth committee.
I hope you will give me your trust, so that I can work with and for the young members of the FIQ, to find the means so that young healthcare professionals have the desire to get involved in the union world.
Vote Virginie at the 2017 Convention.
