A regulation that will allow respiratory therapists to assess the cardiopulmonary condition of a symptomatic person will come into force on July 19, 2018. Respiratory therapists who wish to do so may also prescribe a drug for smoking cessation.

The FIQ has developed an Electoral Toolkit for FIQ and FIQP union reps and members, offering them resources if they wish to address issues with their region’s candidates.
