The Syndicat des professionnelles en soins de Montérégie-Est (FIQ-SPSME) are denouncing a lack of willingness on the part of the CISSSME administration to support their staff who are at the end of their rope.

The FIQ-SPSCN is asking the Health Minister for funding to address the healthcare professional shortage that’s been afflicting the Charlevoix region for several years.

In her latest blog, the president of the FIQ denounced the fate reserved for “whistleblowers” who witness abnormal and unacceptable situations and who want things to change.

The FIQ took part in the launching of a safe healthcare professional-to-patient ratios project which will be implemented at the CISSS de la Montérégie-Centre (Réseau local de services de Champlain).
