For the FIQ and FIQP, the special actions the last few days waged by the nurses, licensed practical nurses, respiratory therapists and clinical perfusionists have achieved their objective: force the government to move so that the discussions at the bargaining table are on the issues really affecting them and will significantly improve their working conditions.

The FIQ and FIQP released the rankings for Quebec’s worst CHSLD ratios.

Determined to have their demands heard, the healthcare professionals of the Fédération interprofessionnelle de la santé du Québec – FIQ and those of FIQP disrupted traffic on the Jacques-Cartier Bridge and Quebec City bridge.

The FIQ is taking advantage of 2020 OHS Week to put physical and mental health prevention front and centre, especially in the context of a pandemic.

To demonstrate concretely that the FIQ and FIQP members are ready to negotiate day and night to obtain better working conditions, a trailer, designed to look like headquarters, was delivered to the Treasury Board’s offices in Quebec City.
