On May 7, the FIQ invited healthcare professionals from the Bas-Saint-Laurent region to participate in a citizen march for Hôpital Notre-Dame-de-Fatima in La Pocatière to bear witness to the population’s outrage and deep-seated fears. “Day after day our members do everything in their power to provide safe, humane and quality care to patients. We are proud to walk beside the people of Kamouraska-L’Islet in this march, one that demonstrates their deep attachment to their local health services to which they are entitled,” said one of the Federation’s representatives.
