Tickets to finance SABSA!
On this first day of the Convention, representatives of the SABSA neighbourhood clinic launched an appeal to the union representatives at the Convention. The FIQ is encouraging its members and the general public to acheter des billets de tirage (buy raffle tickets) and thus help SABSA achieve its goal for the annual 2017-2018 campaign of $250,000. A random draw will determine the winner of the oil painting “Course amicale”, courtesy of the painter, Réal Fournier.
The creation of the Coopérative de solidarité SABSA was made possible thanks to major financial support. An agreement with the CIUSSS de la Capitale-Nationale, in fall 2016, ensures a part of the deployment of services. However, SABSA has to continue its initiatives to consolidate its recurrent funding given the growing number of its patients and the abundance of demands.
About SABSA
Founded in 2011, SABSA is a neighbourhood nursing clinic for a vulnerable clientele with Hepatitis C and the population of Lower Quebec City. Its primary mission is to offer neighbourhood health care and services by a multidisciplinary team, with a non-profit objective.
