On April 10, the FIQ welcomed a delegation from the Democratic Republic of the Congo’s professional nursing order. The delegation was composed of the order’s president, Mr. Louis André Komba Djeko, treasurer, Ms. Marianne Atambutu and their international public relations officer, Ms. Odette Mwamba Banza.

Discussions revolved primarily around how important unions are in health care and the politicization of care. On that note, as Ms. Odette Mwamba Banza is a former member of the Congolese government, needless to say the talks were inspiring on both sides.
