The third edition of the event En marche pour la parité (walking for equality), organized by Groupe Femmes, Politique et Démocratie took place on April 24, 2018. The FIQ was a partner for this non-partisan event, which provided a platform for the leaders of each political party to share their view on gender equality and their commitments to resolving it.

Mr. Couillard, Mr. Legault and Mr. Lisée, alongside Ms. Hivon, each spoke and a text was read on behalf of Manon Massé, who was unable to attend due to a recent ski accident. The Groupes Femmes, Politique et Démocratie officially submitted their draft bill on gender equality, as well as their manifesto, to the party leaders.

As a feminist organization composed of 90% women, the FIQ demands concrete actions to facilitate equal representation at the National Assembly.
