The Syndicat des professionnelles en soins de l’Outaouais (SPSO) is pleased to announce that 85% of its members ratified the tentative agreement reached with the CISSSO.

28 information meetings were held at thirteen facilities within the territory between May 30 and June 17. Nurses, licensed practical nurses and respiratory therapists affiliated with the FIQ were able to vote at the meetings, just like on a referendum day, organized on June 28 at 16 facilities.

Union representatives will meet with the employer within the next few days to finalize the texts and determine the date the new collective agreement will come into force.

The Syndicat des professionnelles en soins de l’Outaouais is the last of the FIQ’s affiliated unions to conclude a new local collective agreement.
